As far as books are concerned, in the commercial and publishing field, our company collaborates with more than 200 foreign publishing companies, among which THAMES & HUDSON, PHAIDON, HAYNES Publishing, WILEY, MURDOCH, REBO, A & C Black Publishers, TASCHEN Verlag, PENGUIN, LIBSA, CARAMEL, TOP THAT etc. Furthermore, our company collaborates with almost all the publishing companies and institutions in Greece and Cyprus. As far as the commercial field of consumable materials is concerned, our company directly collaborates with hundreds of companies, production and commerce firms in Greece and abroad or through their representative in Greece, e.g. STABILO, FABER, SES, SAFTA, NEY S.A.,PELICAN, ROTRING, PARKER,OASIS ART & CRAFT etc. As far as the commercial field of toys and CD-ROMs is concerned, our company collaborates with tens of companies, like BEACON, INTE LEARN, MLS, LIBROCOM, CD-MEDIA, HASBRO, PLAYMOBIL etc. Banks with which our company works: National bank of Greece-branch 210, tel +30 2310 295464, fax +30 2310 295418-476 & Ergasias bank-branch 32, tel +30 2310 286003, fax +30 2310 286001 Balance fixing of 30 June 2004, with a turnover of EURO 7.865.647,85 and profits of EURO 270.402,51. The company has 150 employees and is directed by Dimitris Malliaris, president, Vassilis Malliaris, vice-president and Antonis Malliaris, managing director. In the late years, the Organization Malliaris Paideia publishes approximately 40 books annually. Until now, more than 3,000 books have been published, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries and books concerning history, literature, children, tourism, education, architecture, medicine and school. The publishing department has a Macintosh computer network (Power-Mac) as well as a network of standard PCs and the greatest part of the book preparation (layout, sketching, editing etc) takes place within the premises of the Organization. The department can also undertake the editing and publishing of books on behalf of others. The Company is active in the exports field, which covers the 5% of its activities. The Company works with tens of scientific associates (such as University Professors, authors, journalists, teachers, technicians and other experts), who actively contribute to the publishing process. Last but not least, the Company has organized more than 150 cultural events, book fairs etc. There is also an Exhibition-Congress Area.
