Laicom has been a part of the Codlea Group for several years. They’ve gone independent recently because of a quick growth in the frozen food sector. Laicom is present on the Romanian market with frozen pork, poultry, fish and beef products. But besides this, my role being a key element in this, Laicom intends in the nearest future to expand their portfolio with new suppliers and products. Vegetables and breaded fish are an important part of this strategy. At the same time, Laicom will shortly receive from the EU council a corresponding SAPARD financing for building up a HI-Q logistics platform. We will also work on bringing our company’s assets abroad through logistics services as well as processing raw materials imported from other EU members.
